I grew up watching raw material learn what it wanted to be.

I'm Giovanni Dori. I grew up in a small Sicilian village, in a family of artisans. My mother carved glass and mirror. My father sculpted, and loved music — there was always something playing while he worked. In our house, material was never just decoration — it was the thing itself. You didn't touch it until you understood how it behaved. That's the lesson that never left me.

At nineteen, I went out on my own — painting and decoration, one project at a time. Most of the work was wall finishes then, and it still is now. That's fine by me. What never left me was the training — so even a job that's just plaster gets an artist's eye on it, not just a tradesman's hand. And for the projects that want more, I paint the original art too, designed alongside the wall instead of bolted on afterwards. Two services. One standard.
